This pattern design was inspired by art nouveau wallpapers as well as 19th and early 20th century botanical drawings. As shown below each piece in these patterns were hand drawn and then traced in Adobe Illustrator. I enjoyed the creative and editorial process required to create these patterns - I learned that even slight changes of colour, size, placement, and negative space can impact the overall feel that a pattern communicates.
